This class is so needed by everyone that it has been requested. Rhythm is an essential component of music. It is an essential component of life. Chord changing, strumming and syncopation problems plague many guitarists. Not anymore. This class will catapult your playing and improve every single aspect of it.

In this class we will explore all the main concepts necessary for crafting well-balanced rhythmic and melodic phrases to help you express yourself on the guitar, just as you do when you speak. We also examine how these phrases are put together to form cohesive solos. Many styles are covered – rock, blues, jazz, fusion, country, ethnic, funk, and more – and all of the concepts will be backed up with musical examples.
Practicing correctly, effectively and efficiently is THE KEY to success at any level on the guitar. 90% of all the time you ever play the guitar, even as a professional, is spent practicing. In this class we’ll dive deep into the elements of a perfect practice routine. The elements of available time, skill levels, determining the items you need to focus on and ones you can put on hold, when and where to practice, and how to construct your own practice schedule.
This ongoing class WILL change your experience and journey to seeing the big picture and to literally transform your playing. Knowledge of Theory and how to apply it (not just reading it in a book or doing a stodgy "assignment”), in addition to training your musical ear, is a necessary component. By knowing it, hearing it and thus being able to action it and actually use it, is a giant hub of the wheel. It is THE #1 skill that 90% of guitar players don't have, or don't use.
If you want to learn songs, this is the way! With the new ASCM classes, you will learn tons more songs than you ever could in private lessons. Each month there will be many classes dedicated solely to learning songs the correct way, studying the artists that created them and increasing your song repertoire.
